Areas of Expertise:

Brad Cantwell has assisted in the settlement of thousands of cases nationwide, personally attending more than 2,000 mediations and settlement conferences. He frequently speaks on the subject of structured settlements and negotiation skills. Additionally, he conducts training seminars ranging from the basics of structured settlements to specialized topics such as public benefits integration and life care plan analysis. Brad has experience with a wide variety of cases including general liability, workers' compensation, medical malpractice, FELA, products liability, trucking, employment litigation, environmental litigation, construction defect, non-physical injuries, attorneys' fees, and business buyouts.

Experience:

Brad has been with the company for 18 years. He assists in the negotiation of cases nationwide. He earned Outstanding New Consultant Award from the company in 1991. Prior to being a structured settlement consultant he was with Hyatt Hotels Corporation in 1989 and 1990, where he held the position of Assistant to the General Manager. From 1987 to 1989 Brad was an Instructor of Statistics and Methods of Testing at Arizona State University in Tempe, developing curricula and teaching undergraduate students. In addition, from 1987 to 1989 he worked as a clinical investigator with the Arizona Heart Institute in Scottsdale.

Licenses/Certifications:

Brad holds a life, health, and disability license in multiple states. Additionally, he earned his Certified Structured Settlement Consultant (CSSC) designation from the University of Notre Dame in 2003.

Education:

Brad received a Bachelor of Arts degree with Honors in 1987 from Northwestern University and attended Arizona State University for his graduate studies in the sciences.

Professional Memberships:

Mr. Cantwell is an active member of the National Structured Settlements Trade Association and has served as Co-chair of the Education and Long-Term Planning Committees. He is currently a member of the Legislation and Regulation Committee.
